TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is an important part of the camp day for campers and staff. Most of our campers will start and end their days with their ride on the bus. Because of this, we put a great deal of energy and thought into transportation.
Plus applicable tax
- Buses operate in the mornings from their first pick-up at approximately 8:00 am until all campers and staff are safely delivered to camp;
- Bus arrival is staggered between 8:30 and 9:00 am
- Buses depart from camp at approximately 4:00 pm.
- Campers who live within our stated transportation zones can pay an additional fee to receive transportation (door-to-door) the cost of which is based on the zone in which you live.
- Safety is our number one concern!
- We use seatbelt equipped small school buses driven by professional school bus drivers – drivers with year-round bus driving experience and training. School buses are considered the safest vehicles on the road. The buses are designed with enhanced safety features for the transportation of children and are meticulously maintained.
- Camp staff will ride on the bus, providing assistance to campers, while leading songs and cheers that make the ride a fun part of the day.
- Our modern fleet of school buses is carefully routed, so that the trip to and from camp is as efficient as possible.
